Tigers & Tornados (fixture 8)

12.2.23 – For the Tigers this was the last match of the season and they ended on a relative “high” clocking up their 3rd match win of the season against Stockport B at home. The Triples led the way claiming all their 10 points supported by the Singles and Fours with 6 apiece and the Pairs with 4. The overall result was 26-14 (204-156 shots).This was the final match under captain Arthur Jackson who is retiring this year after leading the team since 2009.

The Tornados travelled to Leeds for their return against West Yorkshire A where their Singles were undefeated (10 points) and their Triples only lost 1 game (8 points). However the Pairs and Fours had a disappointing day only adding a further 5 points between them. Final score was 23-17 (218-157). This was the last match we will play at the Armley Centre as the team is having to find new premises at a more reasonable cost.
