Terriers (fixture 7)

4.2.24

For their 7th match of the year the Terriers entertained West Yorkshire’s B team at home. WY were languishing at the bottom of the table so a good result was to be expected and a good result was indeed achieved. The Terriers dropped just 4 points and clocked up their most decisive win of the season by 36-4 and a shot difference of 127. However, their rivals for 2nd place, Derbyshire, also had a good last match result and remain just 16 points behind with a match in hand. Division 2 could still turn out to be a 3 horse race although realistically, the Tigers look secure with a 40 point buffer at the top.
