Tornados (fixture 3)

21.10.23 Last year both matches against Humberside’s top team had been won (32-8 away and 28-12 at home) so expectations were high as the players made their way through the heavy rain on the edge of storm “Babet” to North Cave. The opening session was won 7-1 but Humberside hit back and took session 2 by 6-2. After lunch, the final 2 sessions went to the Tornados 7-1 and 5-3 giving an overall match win of 21-11. After the bonus points (aggregates) had been added the final result was 27-13 to the Tornados making it 3 wins in a row – an excellent start to the season.
