Premier team (fixture 2)

After last weeks marginal defeat at home, the team travelled to Cheshire for the return game with no great hopes of a win. However by the end of the 3rd session this looked a distinct possibility with 19 points in the bag and only one mat win required. Why this proved impossible is debatable but there is no doubt that with defeat staring them in the face, the Cheshire team decided enough was enough and raised their game to put the pressure on across all mats.

Young Daniel Agar proved worthy of his opportunity in the Singles by winning both of his games – our only undefeated player of the day.

The 19-21 (-15 shots) result means an overall 8 shot deficit as we face up to the West Midlands in November.
