Membership for 2021-22

With the registration process for this season now complete, it is possible to assess how our membership has recovered compared to the pre-covid levels recorded for 2019-20? A mixed picture emerges which shows that over half of our clubs have lost less than 5 members (4 actually increased). The down side is that 15 clubs lost over 5 members and 6 of these lost 10+ (a total of 71 between them).
However, all 38 clubs remain viable and active although many have reduced their involvement in local leagues. The bottom line is that we are about 20% smaller than we were 2 years ago having registered 660 members with the ESMBA.

Considering the dire times we have been through this does provided encouragement and hope for the future. By 2022-23 it is hoped that there will be full participation in the leagues and that membership will once again increase.
