Started in 2018 this was only the 5th time this competition has been held and it was the last of this years county Championships. The entry of 32 teams all started off with a round-robin organized in 8 groups of 4. Group winners and the “next best” 8 then played in the first KO round (last 16) after which the field was reduced to the last 8 (Quarter Finals). In these…

Lawrence & Chantel Ireland knocked out Rod Dawson/Roger Green (11-2)
Simon Holtby/Rose Haynes knocked out Bob Lilley/Allan Meek (15-3)
Dennis Jarvis/Doreen Sorley knocked out Gerry Duffy/David Skinner (14-4)

The Semi Finals went to Dennis/Doreen v Lawrence/Chantel (9-6) and Simon/Rose v Arthur/Debbie (11-4) and then the Final was clinched by Simon and Rose with an 11-4 win.
