A team (fixture 3) and B team (fixture 3)
Sunday November 7th: Although these were both home fixtures, both teams had initially struggled to field a full compliment but with strong support from the C team squad (who were not playing) and which supplied 8 players to fill the gaps, the outcome was good for both sides.
The A team, playing the West Yorks B team, had their best result to date, only losing 2 games and with 1 draw, ended the match with a decisive 35-5 victory. At the other end of the hall, the B team took on Stockport A, (Division 1 winners in two of the last three years) and largely thanks to good performances in the Singles and Triples which contributed 15 points, ended with a very creditable result of 19-21.
