A team (fixture 2)

It looked as if the team was going to Stockport with their backs against the wall. Several key members were unable/unwilling to travel away and in spite of bringing in 3 new players the team was forced to make the trip with only 18 players. The Pairs and Triples performed well, picking up 16 of the available 20 points. Both Fours played 1 short but kept things tight and in spite of losing 2 games did enough to pick up 6 points. With a win in the Singles the match was won 24-16 (180-167).
