A team (fixture 10) & B team (fixture 10)

Sunday March 6th : The final 2 inter-county matches of the season.

The ‘A’ team were due to travel to Derbyshire for a match to decide which of the two would end up in the runners up slot in Dvision 2.  However, an outbreak of covid meant that the game had to be called off. Once Rule 29 had been applied, the team were awarded 17 points (-3 shots) and so ended the season 3rd, just 11 points below Derbyshire.

For their last game, the ‘B’ team travelled to Humberside secure in the knowledge that their win last week over Durham meant that they were already heading for another season in Division 1.  The 9-31 (147-194) defeat was a bit of an anti-climax therefore although young Daniel Agar was pleased to have finished his season with 2 wins in the Singles – probably his last IC match for a while as he turns his focus towards his time at Uni.
