Derbyshire 15 – Tigers 25
So, into our eighth game of the season, playing yet another away game, this time at Derbyshire, a team generous with tea and biscuits, and a team we always struggle away to, having not won there in several years… could the Tigers do better this season?
Well after the first session we managed a draw in the pairs and a win in the triples, with the singles losing by just one shot! The second session was slightly better with a win in the pairs and fours, then it was into lunch and the raffle, unfortunately the tigers failed miserably in the raffle, but then came the third and fourth sessions, with a fantastic fight back from the pairs, triples and fours resulted in all three games, with them all winning both games and aggregates, unfortunately the singles were well beaten with aggregate going to Derbyshire.
The final result was 15 pts to Derbyshire, 25 pts to the Tigers, who still remain unbeaten.
A good day out with a friendly bunch of bowlers all round. The Tigers remain proudly at the top of the table, but will our great run continue with two games left, promotion at stake, and the knowledge that our last game is away to Stockport.

Durham 19 – Terriers 21
Our latest match was away to Durham at the Glebe Centre Murton. We were made very welcome on a cold Sunday morning and the coffee and biscuits on arrival were much appreciated. There followed some extremely competitive games bringing out the best in both teams. The results therefore were fairly even with our Triples and Fours doing particularly well, achieving the aggregate in both disciplines. The final result was Durham 19 points and North Yorkshire Terriers 21 points.
