Northern Championships information

All team skips have now been sent a letter and other information for sharing with their team members.

Location – York and District Indoor Bowls Club, 302 Thanet Road, DringhousesYork, YO24 2NW

Catering will be available from 8.15am for breakfasts right through to 7pm.
The bar will be open throughout the day.
Parking – plenty, both in the front and down the side of the building.

All bowlers please note the following.

We are playing mat on mat. Mats loaned by “The Short Mat Players Tour” (SMTP).
No one is allowed onto the rink without bowling shoes.
No drinks of any description are allowed onto the rink.
No bowling bags are allowed onto the rink.
No chairs for spectators or markers to be taken onto the rink.

Raffle – As is the norm, we will be holding a raffle each day. Would each county please bring a couple of raffle prizes for each day. (Roger Green will supply our counties prizes). As you know we make a lot of money on the raffle which goes a long way to keeping prices down. We will also welcome any prizes from bowlers  It’s just after Christmas and an ideal way to get rid of unwanted Christmas gifts!

The NESMBA will be putting out the mats probably around 6pm on Friday evening. Anyone is welcome to come and help. We only have the mats to do so it won’t take long. I will let you know the time nearer the date.
