Allocation of places in National Finals

Every year there are 64 places available in the National Finals (32 in the Mixed Fours and U18s) and each county may be allocated up to 4 places by the ESMBA Nationals organiser. Each county holding heats is allocated 1 place automatically (provided there are 4 or more entries to the Heats) and the remaining places are allocated dependent upon a formula based on the total entries received nationally. Basically this means that the more entries there are from our county the more likely we are to be allocated additional places.

2002 - and all previous years. 1 place only in each discipline was allocated

2003 - 2 places in the Pairs (17) and the U18 Singles (7).

2004 - 2 places  in the Pairs (19), the Fours (8) and the U18s (6)
