NYSMBA - ORDER OF MERIT

The ORDER OF MERIT tables are an attempt to answer this question by showing points that have been awarded for success in all the key open competitions held throughout the county each year.

These are the NATIONALS - the NORTHERN CHAMPIONSHIPS - the COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS and the CLUB competitions listed below. Points are awarded on a sliding scale according to the table below.

Players performance in leagues (including the Inter-County league) is not rewarded and although

success in JUNIOR COMPETITIONS is shown, no points are awarded as they are not open to all.

The following Open competitions are treated equally whatever the size of their entry
