The overall management of the Association is based on equal representation for each member club. Thus all 46 Clubs may nominate one of their members to represent their club with voting rights at all general meetings.

Day to day management rests with an Management Committee of 10 Officers who are elected at the AGM (usually at the end of April) and serve until the following AGM.

The 10 Officers and 46 club representatives form a General Committee with each having a single vote. From April 2011 the Constitution was amended removing the need to hold 2 General Committee meetings each year. Such meetings will only be called if felt absolutely necessary by the Chairman. There is an AGM annually usually towards the end of April.
